Drop-bottom type is used for coal mine’s vertical shaft and rear-dump type for inclined shaft; dump type is used for dump winding in metal mines and drop-bottom type for multiple-rope friction hoisting. Skip for balanced hoisting has balance rope suspension device while skip for multiple-rope hoisting has steel rope tension balancing device.
